Kiyovu Sports Association recognizes the supporters' clubs of its football teams.
To be recognized by Kiyovu Sports Association, the supporters club must be composed of at least fifty (50) regularly registered and identified members.
To be recognized and have a supporter card, each supporter must join a supporters club and contribute at least one thousand francs (1,000 Rwf) each month to their club.
Each supporters' club must elect its committee composed of a president, a vice-president, a treasurer, a secretary and a mobilization officer.
The supporters' clubs are managed at the level of the Provinces and the City of Kigali and at the national level by a President, a Vice-President, a Treasurer, a Secretary and a mobilization officer. They are in turn elected by the local club committees. The national committee is elected by all recognized club committees throughout the country.
Each supporters club must contribute one thousand Rwandan francs (1,000 Rwf) to Kiyovu Sports Association each month for each of its recognized members. In the event that a supporters club goes beyond three (3) months without total contribution, it is temporarily suspended by the Executive Committee of Kiyovu Sports Association and to be reinstated, it must recover all arrears.
Each supporters' club is responsible for the management of its treasury which is used in the payment of its contributions to Kiyovu Sports Association and in other activities aimed at the proper functioning of the club, the purchase of emblems and the payment of transport to accompany the team.
Each supporters' club fills out a form mentioning the two names of the supporter, the number of their identity card, their physical address, their monthly contribution of at least one thousand Rwandan francs (1,000 Rwf) as well as their signature. The original of this form is given to the Executive Committee of Kiyovu Sports Association.
Supporters' clubs and their supporters themselves must be characterized by discipline, friendship, courage and integrity.
In the event that a supporter commits acts of indiscipline at the stadium or while supporting the team, he is individually responsible, but also the Club Committee must provide explanations to the Executive Committee of Kiyovu Sports Association .
In the event that a supporter club or supporter suffers a threat attack, Kiyovu Sports Association reserves the right to intervene to defend them.
Spokespersons of the supporters' club committee at national level may participate in media exchanges with authorization from the Executive Committee of Kiyovu Sports Association.
